The Hybrid Atelier participates in the CRA UR2PhD Program , a national initiative that connects undergraduate students with research mentors to build pathways toward Ph.D. studies in computing.

Positions are offered each semester. Applications open approximately one month before the start of the new semester.

Are you a UTA student interested in Human-Computer Interaction research? We are looking for curious, motivated undergraduates to join ongoing projects in creative cognition, fabrication tools, and AI-assisted design.

1-2 Ph.D. positions are available for Fall 2028 at the Hybrid Atelier.

We are looking for Computer Science students who identify as strong "makers" to work on projects focused on creative cognition, cognitive modeling, affective computing, and machine learning. There is a strong preference for students with interdisciplinary background.
